🍽️ General Questions

Foodix is a smart recipe manager that helps you discover, save, and organize recipes from across the web, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and blogs. You can also create your own recipes, search by name or ingredients, and earn trophies through gamified milestones.

🏆 Trophies & Gamification

Trophies are rewards you earn for using the app—like saving your first recipe, creating 10 dishes, or sharing with friends.

Go to Profile > Trophies to see what you’ve earned and what’s next to unlock!

👤 Account & Security

Yes. Go to Account > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and removes all your data.

You can browse without an account, but creating one lets you save favorites, earn trophies, and sync across devices.

Tap on Sign Up, enter your email and password, and you’re good to go!

On the login screen, tap Forgot Password? and follow the instructions sent to your email.

📲 Sharing from Social Media & Blogs

Yes! The Share Extension works on blogs too. Or use the Safari iOS Extension, which detects recipes while you browse and suggests saving them instantly.

Use the iOS Share Extension: 1. Tap the Share button in TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. 2. Choose Foodix from the share menu. 3. The app will extract the recipe info and add it to your collection.

🔍 Searching Recipes

You can search by: • Recipe name (e.g., “Spaghetti Carbonara”) • Ingredients (e.g., “chicken + broccoli”) to find recipes using what you have at home.

🛠️ Troubleshooting

Tap “Open Original Link” in the draft view to view the source and adjust ingredients or steps before saving.

Tap the Share button, scroll right, tap More, and make sure Foodix is enabled. You can also drag it to appear higher in the list.

🧠 Smart Safari Integration

1. Open Settings > Safari > Extensions. 2. Find Foodix and enable it. 3. Next time you visit a recipe site, it will suggest saving it automatically.

The Safari iOS Extension automatically detects when you’re viewing a recipe on a blog. It shows a prompt asking if you want to save the recipe to Foodix.
